Medicines and other essentials to carry
Following medicines are recommended for this kind of high altitude treks. Quantity based on the no, of people in the group :
Some Essentials :
- Sunscreen
- Cold cream
- Lip balm
- Wet wipes
- Toilet paper
- Nail cutter + swiss knife
Essential Medicines :
- Electral – lots of it – to avoid dehydration. and to be taken everyday while trekking
- Chlorine tablets for water (after a point in the trek, one do not have access to bottled water)
- Iodex
- Vicks vaporub
- Crepe bandages
- Gauze
- Cotton
- Dettol, Savlon
- Band aids
- Paracetamol – for fever – Crocin etc.
- Analgesic – pain relief, headaches – dispirin etc.
- For Nausea – Avomine
- For Diarrhea – Eno, Pudin hara, Electral, Imodium etc.
- For constipation – Isabgol
- Anti biotics + Vitamin B
